Part-time Desk Clerk Position Summary
Part-time Desk Clerks work at the residence hall front desk and are responsible for greeting individuals as they enter the building, answering phone calls, assisting residents with checking out equipment, notifying building staff in the case of emergency, and generally providing customer service. Part-time Desk Clerks are expected to learn Housing policies and be able to explain and enforce those policies. This position is under the supervision of the Day Desk Clerk and the Community Director.

Part-time Desk Clerk shifts available vary by hall. Most desk shifts available are Monday-Friday 4pm-12am and 24/7 on the weekends, including any call in’s during any shift.
Part-time Desk Clerks are hired at the beginning of each semester and at the end of spring for summer work.
