The Department of Housing and Residence Life operates under a Servant Leadership philosophy which stresses the importance of relationships and trust between our staff and students. Housing staff members actively seek out opportunities to provide the aforementioned services while establishing and maintaining caring relationships with our students.
We are currently taking applications for Part-time Desk Clerks for the 2021-2022 school year.
Part-time Desk Clerk Position Summary
Part-time Desk Clerks work at the residence hall front desk and are responsible for greeting individuals as they enter the building, answering phone calls, assisting residents with checking out equipment, notifying building staff in the case of emergency, and generally providing customer service. Part-time Desk Clerks are expected to learn Housing policies and be able to explain and enforce those policies. This position is under the supervision of the Day Desk Clerk and the Community Director.

Part-time Desk Clerk shifts available vary by hall. Most desk shifts available are Monday-Friday 5pm-12am and 24/7 on the weekends, including any call in’s during any shift. We will have hours from 8am-5pm Monday-Friday at select desks.
