First in Business
First In Business
The only UNT initiative tailored exclusively for first-generation business students.
First in Business is a leadership and support program for first-generation students in the Ryan College of Business at the University of North Texas. Each year, only 25 students are selected to join this tight-knit, high-impact cohort.
Students participate in workshops, attend professional events, connect with peer and faculty mentors, and build confidence that lasts beyond graduation. The program is designed to help students not just succeed, but thrive, lead, and launch.
First in Business
This themed community is an engaging environment for students in the "First in Business" program. Students will be able to take advantage of choosing classes with your neighbors and supporting each other through developmental and demanding courses. Students in this LLC have the opportunity to live and study together using shared living spaces and easy access to the College of Business building.
The "First in Business" Living Learning Community is housed in Joe Greene Hall.
