Tornado Procedures
Resident Halls on the University of North Texas Campus

Bruce Hall:

  • In this hall, all residents living:
    • A and B wings are asked to evacuate to the lowest level.
    • C wing is asked to evacuate to the first floor.
    • D wing is asked to evacuate to the bowling ally.

Clark Hall:

  • In this hall, all residents are asked to evacuate to the lowest level possible and stay in the hallways—away from the common area windows.

College Inn:

  • In this hall, all residents are asked to seek shelter inside their bathrooms.

Crumley Hall:

  • In this hall, all residents are asked to evacuate to the lowest level possible and stay in the hallways—away from the common area windows.

Honors Hall:

  • In this hall, all residents are asked to evacuate to the lowest level possible and stay in the hallways—away from the common area windows.

Kerr Hall:

  • Residents living in A tower:
    • Floor 2-5 evacuate into the restrooms of your suite
    • Floors 6 & 7- evacuate into the stairwells
  • Residents living in B tower:
    • Floors 1-6- evacuate into the restrooms of your suite
    • Floors 7 & 8- evacuate into the stairwells

Legends Hall:

  • In this hall, all residents are asked to evacuate to the lowest level possible and stay in the hallways—away from the common area windows.

Maple Hall:

  • In this hall, all residents are asked to evacuate to the lowest level possible and stay in the hallways—away from the common area windows.

McConnell Hall:

  • In this hall, all residents are asked to evacuate to the lowest level possible and stay in the hallways—away from the common area windows.

Mozart Square:

  • In this hall, all residents living
    • Floor 1- Seek shelter inside their bathrooms
    • Floors 2-3- evacuate down to the first floor hallways inside the center wing.

Santa Fe/Traditions Halls:

  • In this hall, all residents are asked to evacuate to the lowest level possible and stay in the hallways—away from the common area windows.

Victory Hall:

  • Residents living in the North Wing:
    • First floor residents will go into their bathrooms
    • Second and third floor will go down to the first floor hallways
  • Residents living in the South Wing:
    • First and second floor residents go into their bathrooms
    • Third and fourth floor will go down to the first floor hallways

West Hall:

  • Residents living in the North Wing:
    • Evacuate down to the first floor hallways
  • Residents living in the South Wing:
    • Evacuate down to the fourth floor hallways
