Innovators and pioneers with majors in biochemistry, biology, chemistry, ecology, mathematics, or physics choose to succeed in this academic community. All students in this community are required to enroll in CHEM 1410: General Chemistry for Science Majors and CHEM 1430: Laboratory Sequence for General Chemistry* during fall 2017.

Engagement opportunities include:

  • Participating in study groups and tutoring related to science and math coursework
  • Networking with faculty and staff outside of the classroom
  • Attending field trips to gain applied experience related to these career fields

The Science, Research, & Math Living Learning Community is housed in Maple Hall for the 2017 – 2018 academic year.

*Students who already have credit for these courses will be advised on the exception process at Freshman Orientation.
